1.Soil is one of earths most valuable natural resources because everything that lives on land, including humans depends directly or indirectly on soil. It has been said that the top 6 inches of soil on our planet feeds the entire human population. Of course, fish is also an important source of food in many parts of the world too.Without it, mankind would have a tough time feeding the billions of people that depend on fertile soils on which grow crops.
