suggest why scientist classify all domestic dogs in the same species, eve though the difference breeds of dogs show so much variations

Although dogs have many differences because of different kinds of breeds eg. petbull, peg dog or boxer. But there are some similarity like their voice is same means they all bark . Their features are somehow same and one of the biggest similarity is that different breeds of dogs can interbreed with eachother this is how they give rise to a new breed. But you cannot see a dog interbreeding with a cat.
