Ozone layer is getting depleted due to the presence of harmful chemicals in the atmosphere such as CFCs, CTC, HCFCs, etc.

So to protect the ozone layer from getting depleted we should follow the given measures:

1. Avoid the purchase and use of aerosol sprays containing chloroflorocarbons.

2. Avoid the use of fire extinguishers with halogenated hidrocarbon, a substance being very aggressive to the ozone layer.

3. Avoid buying insulating material made from CFC.

4. Keep clean the air conditioning because if a malfunction occurs it emmit CFCs in the atmosphere.

5. Buy a refrigerator or air conditioner which is CFC-free .
