Suggestion on pune city

PUNE: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has collected suggestions from over 1.25 lakh families for the vision plan under the Smart Cities Mission in a week’s time, said municipal commissioner Kunal Kumar on Thursday.


“We are expecting citizens’ responses to come both online and offline sources. Apart from 1.25 lakh families, around 12,000 people have shared their views online. The drive will continue till Monday,” he said.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is on a list of 98 smart cities declared by the Government of India for development under the Smart Cities Mission. Pune's quest for better urban living got a boost as it was listed among 98 cities selected by the Union Government of India.
