Distance = 30m

Speed = 120m/s

Since, speed = distance/time

So, time = distance/speed

= 30/120

= 3/12

= 1/4

= 0.25 seconds.

Sulekha can cover 360 m in 3 minutes.

Given,

Speed of Sulekha=120 m/min

Time=30 min

120 \frac{m}{min}=\frac{120}{60} \frac{m}{s}                  (1 min=60 seconds)

120 \frac{m}{min}=2 \frac{m}{s}.

To find,

distance covered in 30 minutes.

Solution:

The speed is equal to the ratio of distance covered and time taken.

(1 min=60 seconds)

Speed=\frac{Distance}{Time}\\\\Distance=SpeedXTime\\ Distance=2X3X60 m\\Distance=360 m.

The distance that can be covered in 30 minutes is 360 m.
