Given :-

Total no. of observations = 12

Sum of the observations = 256

The observation deleted = 14

Now,

No. of observation = 11

Sum of the observation = 256 - 14 = 242

To find :-

Mean of the remaining observations.

We know that,

 \mathsf{Mean =  \frac{ \: Sum  \:  \: of   \:  \: the   \:  \: observation}{No.  \:  \: of  \:  \: observation} } \\  \\   \mathsf{  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  \frac{242}{11} }\\  \\   \mathsf{  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =22 }

Mean of the remaining observations = 22
