let the smaller number be x and bigger number be y.

by given condition,

x + y = 25 (x - y).........( 1 )

but the smaller number is x = 180.
then the condition becomes,

180+y = 25 (180-y)
180+y=4500-25y
y+25y=4500-180
26y=4320
y=4320/26
y=166.11
