let the three consecutive integers be x, x+1 and x+2
therefore x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 24
==> 3x + 3 = 24
==> 3x = 24 - 3
==> 3x = 21
==> x = 21/3
==> x = 7
hence, the three consecutive integers are :-
x = 7, x + 1 = 7 + 1 = 8 and x + 2 = 7 + 2 = 9
verification :-
= 7 + 8 + 9
= 15 + 9
= 24
