Let the present age of x be 5a years.

Let the present age of y be 4a years.

Let the present age of z be 3a years.

To find:

Age of z after three years.

Equation:

5a+4a+3a = 60

12a = 60

a = \frac{60}{12}

a = 5

Present age of z = 3a

                            = 3×5

                            = 15 years

Age of z after three years = 15+3

                                           = 18 years

⇒ Age of z after three years will be 18 years.

Present age of x = 5a

                            = 5×5

                            = 25 years

Present age of y = 4a

                            = 4×5

                            = 20 years
