Answer: 36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the tens digit be x and unit digit be y

Number formed = 10x + y

Reverse number = 10y + x

x + y = 9 (Given)…………………………eq1

10y + x = 10x + y + 27…………………….eq2

9y - 9x = 27

y - x = 3……………………………………..eq3

Solving eq1 and eq3 ,we get

x = 3 and y = 6

Original Number = 36 Reversed Number = 63

adi7752: man look at the question Care fully it says that the no is 27 more not there sum.
adi7752: according to your eq.3( 6+3=3+6+27)
adi7752: which means you are saying that 9=36 which is not.
Shubhashree16: Excuse me, but eq3 says y-x=3 which means 6-3=3. And eq2 is also correct as rev.no. = ori.no. + 27. If you substitute the values of x and y, you will surely get LHS=RHS!
