==> 2x + (2x +2) + (2x+4) = 48

==> 6x + 6 = 48

==> 6x = 48 - 6

==> 6x = 42

==> x = 42/6

==> x = 7

• 3rd consecutive number be=2x+4

→ sum of 3 consecutive number is = 48 (Given)

So,

→ 2x+(2x+2)+(2x+4)=48

→ 6x+6=48

→ 6x=48-6=42

→ 6x=42

→ x=42/6

→ x=7
