Let the three consecutive numbers are x-1, x, x+1.according to question,    (x-1) + (x) + (x+1) = 51or,  3x = 51 or, x= 17therefore numbers are 16, 17, 18And middle one is 17.

Given,

The sum of three consecutive integers is 51.

To Find,

The middle one is =?

Solution,

We can find the solution as follows:

It is given to us that the sum of three consecutive integers is 51. Consecutive integers are those numbers that follow each other continuously.

Let the first integer be equal to x. Then the second and third integers will be equal to x + 1, x + 2.

Now, the sum of these integers is equal to 51.

x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) = 51

3x + 3 = 51

3x = 51 - 3

3x = 48

x = \frac{48}{3}

x = 16

Now, the three consecutive integers will be 16, 17, and 18.

Hence, the middle one is 17.
