Acc. To question,
X+y=18
X=18-y
Now,it is given that the difference of their square root is one,
So, let bigger no. =x
X2-y2=1
Put value of x
(18-y)2-y2=1
324+y2-36y-y2=1
323=36y
323/36=y
9 =y (approx)
X=18-y
X=9
So,now x +2)+y+2)=22
Putting values 11+11=22
