Sum of two numbers is 64and their differences is 10. Find the numbers

then , the bigger number =X+10

according to the problem,

X+X+10=64

2x+10=64

2x=64-10

2x=54

X=54/2

X=27

therefore the small number is 27 and the bigger number is 37.

finally the numbers are 27,37.

a/c x+y=64-----(i)

x-y=10-----(ii)

on solving both equations

2x=74

x=37

putting the value of x in i

y=64-37

=27
