let them be x and y
so given
x + y= 75
and x -y = 20
we know that
x {}^{2} - y {}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y)
so
x {}^{2} - y {}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y) \\ = > x {}^{2} - y {}^{2} = 75 \times 20 \\ x {}^{2} - y {}^{2} = 1500
The difference is 1500
hope it helps mark it brainliest plz plz plz plz plz

hey there
let the nos be a and b
a + b = 75......
a -b = 20 ......

now a square - b square = a+b *a-b
we know that we hav taken value of a +b = 75 and A-b = 20
now putting the values
a+b * a-b = 75.*20 = 1500
