Here is your answer :-

Sum of two numbers = 90

Let the smaller number be x.Then, greater number = (90-x)

It is given that, greater number exceeds thrice the smaller by 14.A/q,

➡ 3(x) + 14 = 90 - x

➡ 3x + x = 90 - 14

➡ 4x = 76

➡ x = 76/4

➡ x = 19.

Answer :- ➡ Smaller number = x = 19

➡ Greater number = (90-x) = (90-19) = 71.

Hope it will help you !!!
