x + y = 95 ----(1)
One exceeds the other by 15
x = y + 15
putting x in (1)
y + 15 + y = 95
2y + 15 = 95
y = 40
putting y in (1)
x + 40 = 95
x = 55
x and y
Sum of the two numbers = 95
x + y = 95 ----(1)
