Let the numbers are x and x+15
ACC. to the question
x +x + 15 = 95
2x + 15 = 95
2x = 95 -15
2x = 80
x = 40
s
so, one number is 40 and the other is 55

Hey,
Let the numbers be X and y,
x+y=95
Let X exceed y by 15,
x-y=15
Now, solving both the equations,
In the first equation,
x=95-y
Substitute X's value in equation second,
(95-y) - y=15
95-2y=15
-2y=-80
y=40.
And, x=95-y
x=95-40
x=55.
