Answer:

here is your answer mate...

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of 50 paisa coins = x

Then, number of 25 paisa coins = 2x

Total money with Sumitra = Rs 34 = 34 × 100 paise = 3400 paise

From the given condition, we have:

50x + 25 × 2x = 3400

50x + 50x = 3400

100x = 3400

x = 34

Number of 50 paisa coins = 34

Number of 25 paisa coins = 2 × 34 = 68

Let Sumitra has 'x' 50-paise coins & 'y' 25-paise coins.

She has rs 34

So rs 1 = 100 paise

rs 34 = 34*100 = 3400 paise

50x + 25y = 3400 ----------- (1)

Given that , y = 2x ------------(2)

from equation (1) & (2) we get

50x + 25*(2x) = 3400

50x + 50x = 3400

100x = 3400

x = 34

From (2) we get

y = 2x = 2*34 = 68

So,

Number of 50-paise coins = 34

Number of 25-paise coins = 68
