The poem “Dad and The Cat and The Tree” is about an overconfident dad who went on to climb a tree in order to save a cat. The cat had got stuck on the tree and was crying for help. Dad wanted to save the cat and so went on to climb the tree. Mom warned him of felling off from the tree but dad was full of overconfidence and started to climb the tree. He fell twice from the tree but his confidence didn't stop him from retrying. When he tried for the third time, the cat got rescued but on its place, he got stuck on the tree.
