How the camel got his hump is about a camel who is very lazy to work.In the beginning when the world was new and the animal were beginning to work for men,there was a camel who was very lazy even to walk.The dog,horse & ox came to him to advice him to work like them but the camel denied.The three animals complained about the camel to the man but he man also told them that the camel will not work.So it's useless to talk about him.The three animals were very angry as they have to do extra work because of the camel.They held a meeting and as they were making plans the djinn came there and asked them what they were doing there.The three replied that they were very disturbed of the camel as he didn't work.The Djinn thought over it and told them not to worry.Then he went to meet the camel.The camel was looking at his reflection when the djinn came to visit him.The djinn asked the camel why he didn't like to work.The replied by saying humph.The djinn became angry and curse the camel that his back would puff into a big hump.Seeing his back the camel become sad and asked the djinn how he will work with that hump.The djinn solved this problem by adding that now he can work for many days without eating & told the camel to go and trot like the other three.The camel went to help the other three animal but he can't make up the three days which he had missed at the beginning.
