Helen was born in a middle class family. She was diagnosed with a rare disease. That disease made Helen deaf and blind. So she was unable to communicate with her family properly. But by the arrival of her teacher Anne Sullivan, changes occurred in Helen's life. Helen learnt alphabets from Sullivan and started to read and listen to many things.
Once she went a trip with Sullivan and her mother, she was inspired by the blind girls and joined in a blind school to learn many things. There she started to speak. Doctors once said that it was impossible for Helen to speak. But she crossed that barrier in her life.
After finishing her school, she joined in a college and learnt history, economics, etc. After finishing her college studies, she wrote her first story “The Frost King” and dedicated this story to her mother, her teacher Sullivan, and her friends. In the last chapter of the story, she discussed about some things which are important to her life.
