SUMMARY
Robin Crusoe is a story about a young man who defies his parents and ends up wandering around, lost on an island because he gets lost at sea.
His parents refused to let him go so he ran away from home and went to sea.
He faced issues with the first boats captain. He went onto an African ship that took him on as a slave and he managed to escape when a Portuguese ship saved him. He became involved with Sugar plantation business in Brazil.
Later on he went to sea again but this time his ship and mates got involved in various bad storms which led to the ship being wrecked and he was the only survivor on a deserted island.
He survived as much as possible. Brought some necessities from his wrecked ship as he swam to the ship. He made himself shelter and would gather food and domestic animals at a point as well.
He became close to God and built a summer home on the other side of the island which he later discovered was fertile.
He spent 15 years over there after which he came across a human footprint. He then discovered cannibals living on the island as well. he became friends with a man named Friday as well and kept a calendar to time his dates.
He was later rescued from the island as well.
