Summary of poem Memories by Marjorie Wilson:

The poem Memories is a poem of the memories shared by the poet of her father. She reminisces on all the good times she spent with her father. She mourns the loss of her father, and everything in the house she sees and touches takes her down the memory lane with,  memories of her father.  

She goes through all the memories right from breakfast to the graveyard. She feels sad for her mother who still can’t stop looking at the gate for the footsteps of her dear father. This poem is sure to touch everyone’s heart.
