Summary
A traveler tells the poet that two huge stone legs stand in the desert. Near them on the sand lies a damaged stone head. The face is distinguished by a frown and a sneer which the sculptor carved on the features. On the pedestal are inscribed the words "My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: / Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Around the huge fragments stretches the empty desert.

Poem "Ozymandias" was written by Percy Bysshe Shelley. In this poem he has written about a Cruel king and a meeting place with someone who has traveled to an antique land where old civilizations once exist. The traveler told a story speaker about an antique damaged statue in the desert. The statue is broken into parts but you can still imagine about the face. The sculptor did a great job to show his king's personality.
On the base near the face, the traveler reads some inscriptions in which the king Ozymandias tells anyone who might be happen to pass by, "Look Around and see how awesome I am" but there was no evidence of his awesomeness in the domain of his giant broken statue. He also says "Nothing Remains on this earth".
