Section 1 gives the outline of the scope of both science and religion and their relationship, their history which discusses the evolution since 1960. Authors who wrote about these topics are also mentioned along with their work.  Work from past 50 years is discussed, the actual and deep meaning of science and religion, different models for understanding their interaction with the conflict model and independence model etc.

Section 2 explains the relationship between science and religion in 3 religious traditions which are Islam, Christianity and Hinduism.  The brief discussion of the relationship of science with these religions is given with their complete history having a discussion of all those scientists who worked in this field. 

Then section 3 discusses the topics of scientific inquiry in which he has explained the relationship between science and religion, the divine actions having a brief discussion of theories, the origin of human beings and he has also focused on the entire creation.

Section 4 discusses the directions of studying science and religion.
