The stranger came upon a soldier who asked for water. The soldier was not aware that he has been hit on the chest. All he knows is that he feels a small pain on his chest.

He relayed to the stranger what happened the night before where a hundred of them marched forward but an explosion happened, others died while the soldier felt a pain in his chest. 

Soon after the soldier finished relaying his story, he rested and died. The stranger then held him and cried for his lost life.
