THE AILING PLANET :-

the ailing planet is a beautiful story written by Nani Palkhivala we can't say it a story ,rather it is an article.

THE GREEN MOVEMENT

The Green Movement was founded in 1972 in New Zealand and brought great awareness to humanity about preserving our planet for the futureHuman started thinking that we are merely a partner having equal rights as any other organism to live on Earth the Green Movement has made people realised that earth existence was threatened and so we started campaigns whatever w to save it from distruction.

SHIFT IN HUMAN PERCEPTION :-

for the first time we human have change our view towards the earth and I m sure that it will a develop a holistic and ecological view of the world and this perception is revolutionary .For the first time in human history, there is a going worldwide consciousness towards earth itself is a living organism. so we have a started treating Earth as a partner rather than dominating it

a question that can be important from this chapter is ..

why the earth is said to be an ailing planet ??

according to the author ,there are four principles biological system namely fisheries ,forest ,grasslands and cropland. but the men action has threatened its existence. With drying river, depleted and polluted environment and deteriorated forest and greenery ,Earth is having a difficult time will it survive and thus it is said to be an ailing planet.

SOME FLASHBACKS :-

=> sustainable development

=> how are the earth's principal biological important ?

=> Cause of the collapse of fisheries are need of ever increasing protein .

=> our grassland are converted into Barren westland and croplands are deteriorating.

THANKS
