A British ambassador once makes a comment to a Chinese sculptor. As a result, the sculptor gives the British man a priceless statue. He tells the ambassador that the statue must not be sold unless there is no other way to uphold the family honor. The statue remains with the British family for generations. Unfortunately, there comes a time when the statue must be sold. It is then a secret about the statue is brought out for the first time. This causes one of the auctioneers to trace the statue’s history – who owned it first, who bought it first, why the statue is being auctioned and its actual worth.
