The poet talks about a cat which climbs a tree to height and got stuck there. It could not have been brought them without someone has so that got ready to help the cats and ignored the warnings of the poet's mother about his own safety. He was over confident and felt it was the cake walk for him. The poet says that his father made several times to drink the cat the first he brought a ladder it but it slipped and that fell down on the ground in the flower bed . Not one to accept defeat he tried second time jumped up set on a branch and the branch grow under his weight . Now he tried third plan at after the other two had failed climbed up the wall of the garden and jump on the tree but it was a luck would have it and he landed freight freight on the cat and the tree trunk. The cat gave out a yell and jump safely to the ground but now the poor dad had got himself stuck in the cat's place .
