The affection for her life left her yet she paused, and her adoration returned. perhaps, talking in puzzles I state. All things considered, really, it says, "and this time you will discover me lying alone." which makes me believe that in the past she was with another person, however genuinely adored him. what's more, presently after time passed, she is liberated to be with him.  

It could likewise be something totally unique, similar to ones possible acknowledgment of other worldliness.
