This poem is about a snake who is trying to escape being hit by a stick. It is quite human to hit a snake or run away from it, because for most of the human being a snake means a very dangerous animal which can kill in one bite. This poem is about a human beings respect for an animal; which is quite strange because most of us just get scared at the sight of a snake. ....................

Summary of the poem 'Snake'.
The poem "snake" revolves around a snake that has come to drink in the authors water trough and the author is in a dilemma if to kill the snake or not according to his voice of education the snake is a golden one which means that it is a poisonous one but then he adores the snake and doesn't want to kill him but I'm the end he throws a log at the snake and the snake goes back into his Royal world to be crowned again and the author regrets throwing the log at the snake
