this story tells his reader that Ford is a Baptist preacher and is known for being kind and morally upright. Solomon asserts, “there never was a more kind, noble, candid, Christian man than William Ford,” and attributes Ford’s acceptance of slavery to his upbringing and environment. Solomon thinks Ford would have felt differently about slavery had he grown up somewhere else.

Savage Seven

WAFC's Savage Seven tournament is a one day event held each summer to celebrate the sport of ultimate. Teams consist of seven players who will play approximately seven hours of ultimate against seven other teams. Games are slightly shorter than normal, only 9 points instead of 15, but without substitutions they feel like an eternity by the end of the day.

Savage Seven rules

Every team is allowed up to 6 men and 3 women on their roster.

Before the pull of each game you must declare a "savage seven" of 5 men and 2 women.

If an injury occurs, the team may make a substitution and the other squad may match the substitution.

Each team may only initiate one injury sub per game.
