Anil's age was 25 years old and that young boy whose name was Hari Singh, his age was 15 years. He was fairly and experienced thief. Hari Singh wanted to do work at Anil's house. But Anil could not be able to give him salary. He was illetrate and with the help of his newly made friend had make him known to write his name. At night, Anil used to sleep and Hari Singh was also sleeping beside him. He saw a beam of moonlight crossed over the balcony and fell into the bed. Hari sat and observing his surrounding situation and thought if he took the money of Anil, he could go Lucknow. He suddenly converted his thoughts into action. He moved silently near Anil's side and took 600 rupees in fifties. As he reached station, The Lucknow Express Train was started but still in slow speed and he wanted to catch the train but he hesitated for some reason and missed the opportunity to get away. At that time, he turned his illusions to reality which was he believed that friends were more touble than help. In his short career as a thief, he had collected a good knowledge of men's faces when they've been robbed of their goods. The greedy man showed fear, the rich man showed the anger and poor man showed acceptance. But he was sure of Anil's countenance, when he discovered the robbery, would present only a touch of sadness. Not for the loss of money but also for the loss of faith and trust. He went to Anil's house and kept that money wherever already kept. When he woke up, he smiled at him in most appealing manner. And this time the smile was genuine without any effort.
