Today I wrote this poem.

The poem today I wrote this is written by kenn Nesbitt. who write about his first experience of writing poem. The poet said when he first wrote a poem he showed that to his teacher who was critical of him and said his poem is lacking deft of feelings,Narration and figures of speech like simile metaphors , personification etc.

He also complained that the poem doesn't belong to any particular genre. But in spite of all these remarks the teacher gave him good grades because she was impressed by his courage to write something and encourage him to write more. The poet here is trying to give a message that your creation may not be the greatest one but we must be happy about it and should enjoy that.
