In the story of instead of the war drum emphasis was given on the Emperor Ashoka.

Ashoka followed a vegetarian lifestyle and he was a man of his words.

Before the war of Kaling he used to take many live in the war and had killed many people but after this war he had changed to become a stable emperor.

He learned that a man should not get over confidence and he was sad after the war because he knew that many people had lost their lives.

He followed Buddhism afterwards.
