The above is a chapter from the book Positive Lives. The protagonist Mr Ashok Pillai is a radio  operator who has become an HIV victim. The protagonist initially was delineated from many because  the disease is treated in dim light, in the first place, therein making many introvert. However most  HIV people have shaped the future of victims and the society through awareness campaigns,  advocacy and so on.
