toto was in the captivity of a Tonga driver.the grandfather gets sympathetic with the monkey and thinks that his private zoo would be a better place for Toto.So he purchased Toto for 5 rupees from the Tonga wallah. Toto had bright mischievous eyes along with pearly white teeth . Toto was a real trouble for every living soul in the house. Other animals in grandfather's zoo were also not happy with him. So grandfather decided to provide the other animals in the zoo some relief and took Toto to Saharanpur. The ticket collector was collecting the fares. As there seems to be no rule for fixing a monkeys fare, he equated Toto with a dog and a fare for him too.Toto takes bath in a tub of warm water. Toto knows the proper steps of bathing by observing the narrator. Toto's nuisance was increasing by days. He destroyed everything that he laid hands on . For a middle class family affording new dishes(because he broke every dish in the house) was a costly affair . due to these situations Toto had to be sold back to the Tonga driver for only 3 rupees.
