                     The Ant & The Cricket.

This poem is about a silly cricket and an ant. This poem teaches us few moral lessons too.

This poem has a character whose a cricket ( it's an insect ) who was in trouble in winters. The cricket wasted it's time in summer and now it's suffering.

When it was summer, the cricket did not make it's shelter, neither did it think about it's future. It was enjoying it's life happily.

And winter arrived, poor cricket did not have shelter, it did not have food, it was experiencing hardship.

The cricket thought of going to an ant and asking for help. It thought that it would repay  the ant in the end.

But the ant, it was very clever. When the cricket went to the ant, the ant asked the reason it was here. The cricket replied that it had no shelter to live, neither had food to eat. The cricket thought that the ant would help him.

But the ant replied that it was the rule of ants that they should never borrow or lend things. The ant didn't help the cricket in any way. She asked the cricket in horror the reason for facing hardship now.

The cricket replied carelessly that it was enjoying it's summer by dancing and singing without bothering about the future. The ant rudely replied the cricket to dance in winters too.

To conclude this, I must say that we must be responsible for the future too, we must think and save for the future. We must not waste our time by enjoying life when the present is good, we should also think of the hard times.
