Resident of thane are in for a bag full of goodies offered by the thane Municipal corporation.If things go as planned by the Civic body ,then the city may soon get 6 more much needed foot over bridges.(FOBS) Two FOBS will come up inside the city while the remaining four will be built at major intersection on ghodbunder Road.A TMC had put forth such a proposal and had invited bids for the same But they received poor response.Hower,the TMC is sure that this time their plants will materialize soon."I hope the Civic authorities will fast track the plants to construct FOBs as thousand of lives are at risk ,said a senior citizen ,I am now so afraid to cross the roads that I always make sure that there are four to five people crossing with at the same time.​
