sun is made up of gases like helium and hydrogen which is the lightest gas so why they don't spread in whole universe

The reason is that
Sun has a huge gravitational force at its center it prevents the gases from going too far.
This is why hydrogen stays in earth duw to earths gravitational powwe

They are bound by gravity.
