A blackbody radiation is a thermal electromagnetic radiation that surrounds a body or is within it in a thermodynamic equilibrium with a its environment or produced by a blackbody.

The sun which has s an average temperature of approximately 5800 Kelvin is an approximate blackbody with an emission spectrum that is peaked at the central yellow-green part of the visible spectrum but also has a significant strength in the ultraviolet.

Therefore it is true that sun's radiation is similar as blackbody radiation.

The correct answer is - True.

Black-body radiation is a type of thermal-electromagnetic radiation with that creates an absorption spectrum. In general, a body emits radiation when it is heated. In the case of a black-body, all the radiation that falls on it is absorbed by it. A small amount of radiation is emitted by the black body called as the black body emission. So, even the radiation from the Sun is almost close to being a type of blackbody radiation.
