sunita has rs.9 in fifty pasisa and twenty five paisa coins.she has twice as many twenty five paisa coins as she has fifty paisa coins.how many coins of each kind does she have.

let number of fifty paisa coins = x
number of twenty paisa coins = 2x
1 rupees = 100 paisa
9 rupees = 900 paisa
value of 'x' fifty paisa coins = 50x
value of '2x' twenty paisa coins = 40x
50x + 40x = 900
90x = 900
x = 900/90
.•. x = 10
Hence, no. of fifty paisa coins = 10
no. of twenty paisa coins = 20
