Let Sunita's age be x and Ashima's age be y
x=2y first equation
(x+4)=4(y-6) second equation
x+4=4y-24
x-4y=-28
Putting the value of x from equatio

let ashima be x years old so now Sunita is 2x years old . if 6years i.e x-6 and x+4 .

vinayak4x: my mistake
vinayak4x: then 2x+4=4(x-6)
aryan014: yah now it is right
vinayak4x: 2x+4= 4x-24
vinayak4x: =4+24=4x-2x
vinayak4x: =28=2x
vinayak4x: x=28/2=14
vinayak4x: so two years back x-2= 12 and sunita will be 2x-2= 28-2= 26
vinayak4x: done
aryan014: hmm nice one
