Heya!!Here is your answer friend ⤵⤵

Let one angle be x

The other angle is 1/4x

Using the property , sum of supplementary angles is 180

We have ,

x+1/4x=180

4x+x/4=180

5x/4=180

5x=180*4

5x=720

x=720/5

x=144
--------

Supplement is 36

Hope it helps you ✌✌

AhnaDey: Thanks for answering me but are you sure it is the correct answer?

We know that two angles are supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees.

Given that supplement of an angle is one-fourth of itself.

= > x + x/4 = 180

= > (4x + x)/4 = 180

= > 5x = 720

= > x = 720/5

= > x = 144.

Therefore the measure of the angle is 144.

Hope this helps!

siddhartharao77: Yes..it is
AhnaDey: but the another one gave me the other answer
AhnaDey: plz tell me
sanya55: I have given same answer
siddhartharao77: it is also correct... But she subtracted from 180. = > 180 - 144 = 36.
sanya55: answer is 144
AhnaDey: ooo
sanya55: but I also have given the supplement i,e 36
AhnaDey: thanks
