The given angle = X
Supplement of the angle = 1/4 (x)

x + [1/4(x)] = 180° (Supplementary angles equal 180°)

x+ x/4 = 5x/4
5x/4= 180

5x = 180(4)
5x = 720
x = 720/5
x = 144

Measure of the angle is 144°
