2. Analogous Organs : These organs have a similar function but a different structure. So this shows that their origin is different and have evolved to perform one similar function.
3. Fossils: Fossils are the preserved traces of the living organisms who died a million years ago under conditions like pressure or high temperature.
They provide a link between two different organisms.
For Example: We know from the fossils that dinosaurs had feathers but not for flight but for thermo insulation, today we see birds using feathers for flight, this shows that birds and reptiles are closely related,(because dinosaurs are reptiles)
