A+B = 2x-2 ------------------(1)
A-B= = 4x-8 ------------------(2)
adding both the equations, we get
2A = 6x -10
⇒A = (6x-10)/2
⇒A = 3x - 5
put value of A in equation 1,
(3x-5) + B = 2x-2
⇒ B = 2x-2-(3x-5)
⇒ B = 2x-2-3x+5
⇒ B = -x+3
⇒ B = 3-x
