Suppose an ant crawls at a speed of 14cm per minute. How much distance (in kms) can it cover if it crawls continuously for 100 hrs ? Express the distance in standard form ​

100 hours

= (100 × 60) minutes

= 6000 minutes

=> distance travelled by ant in 1 minute = 14 cm

=> distance travelled by ant in 6000 minutes

= 14 × 6000

= 84000 cm

=  \frac{84000}{100} m

= 840m

=  \frac{840}{1000} km

= 0.840 km

= 0.84 km
