Suppose beam containing all three fundamental subatomic
particles are allowed to pass through an electric field as
shown in figure. The subatomic particles detected at three
points A, B and C on the screen respectively are ?

(a) Protons, neutrons, electrons
(b) Electrons, neutrons, protons

OPTION (B) is correct option .

Explanation:

As shown in the figure the beam of particles is passed through an electric field and get splits into 3 direction A,B and C .

A particle beam directs towards the positive field it means it has an opposite charge which is negative hence,it gets  attracted towards the positive electric field and the particle having negative charge is electron so we conclude that the A beam has particles called electron.

A particle beam which attracts towards the negative field must be containing positive charge particles that is protons

And the particle beam not getting deflected must be neutral and it is neutron so

A is electron

B is neutron

C is proton

Answer:

Option B

Explanation:

As the opposite charges attract positive terminal attracts electron of negative charge.

Negative terminal attracts proton of positive charge

so the answer is electron,neutron,proton
